Opening in 1973 Jannel Cruisers Chandlery has been selling boat essentials for almost 50 years but in late 2019 they wanted to upgrade their EPoS and back-office systems. They needed a supplier that could convert their existing, extensive database and seamlessly integrate with their new chosen epos system.

After careful research Norcon were selected, as they supply “turnkey solutions” which enable a seamless transfer from one system to another. Norcon implemented Touchpoint and Touch Office Web and integrated Jannel Crusers own specialist label printer into the system.

Jannel has been slowly progressing over the past 50 years. When they came to Shobnall Marina there was nothing there and they have built it all from the ground up. When it first opened it was all boat hires, eventually it expanded into a dry dock, and then the chandlery came along.

After talking to many different suppliers Jannel chose Norcon. Martin & Joanne need to keep a close eye on stock levels for ordering & stocktaking, so chose Touchpoint and Touch Office Web to deal with stock control for their products. Jannel Cruisers have been very happy with our service, when speaking about the support they even called it fabulous, because the team is always happy to help with any problem, big or small.

Martin & Joanne required a single till system, with integrated card payments & cloud based back-office solution. Martin & Joanne also had a large product file which needed to be imported. Norcon had the expertise & experience to convert & import the product file which meant as soon as the system was installed the vast majority of item they sell scanned straight away.
